My client is a renowned digital Rewards and Loyalty platform that has grown their business tremendously, boasting over 5 million active users across Asia Pacific today. They power more than 1,000 ecommerce merchants and are continuously growing.

As they expand and continue to build and introduce new products internationally, they are hiring for a seasoned and passionate Head of SEO.

This is a critical role in the organization reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer and will lead a team of local and regional SEO and Content Specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SEO strategic roadmap and ensure optimization opportunities are communicated across the organization
  • Devise and oversee integrated marketing plans with Commercial / Product leads and local Country GMs
  • Perform content analysis, opportunity identification, ongoing technical SEO audits, backlink analysis etc
  • Oversee the research of best practices, popular keywords, and other useful metrics, and eventually analysis, modification and adoption
  • Strategize and collaborate with editorial/content teams on content creation, SEO optimization, linking and distribution
  • Oversee training of SEO team on new strategies and future algorithms
  • Travelling as per business requirements when needed

Key Requirements

  • Over 6 years of professional SEO experience with large-scale eCommerce or Internet platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science or applicable discipline
  • Experience in working in highly competitive markets across geographies, along with direct experience in building and leading teams
  • Ability to demonstrate clear and proven examples of SEO process with years of learning and forward planning in tandem with developments in ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of search engine ranking factors, semantics, algorithms and core SEO principles
  • Expert with SEO tools such as GA, Search Console, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Raventools, Majestic, Conductor, Authoritylabs, Screaming Frog, MOZ, SimilarWeb
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Able to conduct content generation projects (i.e. social media marketing, blogging, etc.)
