Salary: £120,000 - £150,000

I am partnered with a disruptive Series A (£14 million) FinTech company offering alternative payment solutions, breaking the mold of the industry. Their innovative cloud-based solutions enable businesses to transfer real-time value to consumers on a global scale.

After the latest round of funding the development team is expanding, with an ambitious Head of Engineering required to come in and scale their open API solution platform, whilst overseeing the growth of the development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the technical direction of the engineering team

• Offer strategic and design expertise, working in conjunction with the CTO

• Have influence in the organisational structure, with regards to the strategy and vision

• Scale and grow out the engineering team, being a key figure in hiring processes

• Maintaining best engineering practices whilst instilling a collaborative and supportive team culture

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience leading software managers and developers, providing a collaborative environment whilst promoting the best engineering practices and excellence

• Experience hiring and mentoring new and existing members of the team

• Evidence of working on highly complex cloud-based solutions

• A compassionate manager that knows how to grow talent and get the most out of your teams
