My client is a globally renowned bank known for its innovative products and utilizing cutting edge technologies. Their innovation pervades every part of the bank, consumer to corporate banking arm. With a strong culture of innovation, experimenting with new technology and collaboration with the FinTech community, they are looking for an effervescent proponent of their vision to join the major transformation programme. You will be influencing the latest technology to develop mission critical applications from scratch for digital channels covering investment and insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for the delivery of digital technology solutions for the platform in all our locations
• Looking after complex digital products from start to finish and delivery stage.
• Digital channels include Wealth applications, insurance services within internet and mobile banking and our Mobile Relationship Manager iPad application
• Run out a world class Technology delivery and support tower
• Accountable for production stability, performance and resilience of solutions
• Assuring that the delivery tower always has the skills they require to meet their objectives and aspirations
• Assist business colleagues in identifying global best in class insurance ecosystems and technology
• Keep up to date, propose and implement industry best practices by setting the example
• Benchmark our quality metrics internally and externally against fintech as well as established companies in insurance and related industries
• Lead design thinking to support our business colleagues
• Effectively manage C level stakeholders on day to day basis.
• A hands-on technologist

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience in various Digital Technology products
• Good complex understanding of digital products
• Consumer banking, Investment products, wealth, Insurance
• Managed circa 150 people
• A proven track record translating vision into actionable plans with demonstrated business results.
• Hands on approach of the creation of digital technology products all the way through to delivery.
• Experience/knowledge of e-commerce and/or digital transformation is a plus.
• Effectively manage C level stakeholders
