Our client, a global fintech firm is looking for a Sanctions Advisory AVP/VP.

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide sanctions advisory and guidance for the global business
• Oversee sanctions policies globally and update them when necessary
• Liaise with business and local MLROs for sanctions matters
• Ensure that new businesses and products adhere to sanctions policies
• Enhance sanctions risk assessments as appropriate
• Keep abreast with global sanctions developments
• Provide advisory on sanctions screening threshold settings

Key Requirements 

• More than 6 years of Sanctions experience, with robust understanding of OFAC regulations and requirements
• Prior experience in Payments/e-commerce and regional/international AML coverage would be advantageous
• Ability to navigate in a dynamic environment
• Business acumen, analytical skills and ability to interpret relevant regulations
