Job Description

We are working with a freight forwarding company who are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead a team and drive sales for the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute successful sales strategies and plans
  • Line management responsibility of 11 General Managers within the region
  • Exceed personal and team sales goals through account development and maintenance
  • Provide strong leadership, mentorship, vision and direction
  • Work with Regional team to develop the plan for company expansion and in-country development
  • You will be responsible for the day to day management and development of the business specifically by developing regional sales & marketing plans that supports regional brand and sales initiatives for key segments

Key Requirements 

  • More than 10 years experience in a marketing and sales roles, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics with at least 5 years of senior management experience
  • Data-driven mentality and strong business acumen
  • Cross-cultural experience working with local and international teams
  • An entrepreneurial mindset that demonstrates strong initiative and sense of ownership
  • Assist in feasibility study of new acquisitions
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
