This General Manager, Hong Kong will have full P&L responsibility for the Hong Kong market aiming to transform the business by leading a lean team covering on/off trade sales support, trade marketing and consumer marketing with a long term, profitable, sustainable and innovative strategy.

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the listed mother company with responsibility for the growth of the Group’s Premium brands in Asia market.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully accountable for the Hong Kong Market P&L with the responsibility to deliver volume, share, revenue, margin, net profit and other key financial goals

  • Fully accountable for Operations and all execution activities in the Hong Kong markets to achieve best execution in outlets

  • Driving a brand led portfolio strategy focusing on the Regional Brands portfolio

  • Develop and drive the Channel and Distribution Strategy to ensure coverage of all strategic channels (on-trade, off-trade and e-commerce) with market leading distribution targets

  • Full ownership and management of direct strategic partners and Key Customers

  • Drive Scale and Simplicity

  • Leading a strong team including on trade sales, off trade sales support, trade marketing and marketing

  • Benchmark key competitors to secure strategic and execution advantage

  • Proactively connect with Region and Global network for best practices and learnings

Key Requirements:

  • 10 years of management experience in FMCG industry

  • Experience in P&L management, strong experience in managing wholesaler and distribution networking in HK market, experience in On-Trade & off trade and marketing management

  • Proven Track record in building and managing a high-performance team

  • Strong evidence of planning and organizing annual strategy plan, action plan and budgeting plan

  • Strong business acumen and can quickly seize business opportunities

  • Flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic environment, comfortable within a fast moving, challenging and deadline driven environment

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical & influencing skills with the ability to work in a Matrix work environment

  • Strong command of the Cantonese & English language is essential
