Our client, a global fintech firm is looking for a Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager for its branch in Tokyo

Key Responsibilities

• Be fully involved in developing and updating AML/Sanctions and Compliance policies and procedures, ensuring that regulatory requirements are adhered to
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including Legal, Risk, Business and Operations teams of the firm on a regional basis
• Coordinate with regional teams for Compliance matters pertaining to Tokyo branch
• Be the point of contact for regulators
• Facilitate inspections and audits as and when necessary
• Conduct Compliance training
• Keep abreast with regulatory developments and ensure that risks are mitigated

Key Requirements

• More than 10 years of Regulatory Compliance experience within Payments/Financial Services
• Excellent command of English and Japanese to communicate with regional offices and regulators respectively
• Ability to navigate in a dynamic environment
• Business acumen, analytical skills and ability to interpret relevant regulations
• Attention to detail and stellar communication skills to interact with stakeholders regionally
