We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an innovative developer to be part of the Software Development team for a fast-growing Start-Up.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a software platform that enables optimisation of large-scale distributed systems while moving monolith applications to microservice architecture.
• Develop and design modern technologies for back-end systems
• End-to-end software development of feature from requirements gathering, development to automated testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product, third party vendor, and researchers for timely, on-point software delivery
• Practise Test Driven Development (TDD) by writing unit tests and regression tests
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Write functional requirement documents and guides

Key Requirements

• More than 7 years of hands-on software development experience
• Experienced in developing scalable microservices using event driven architecture.
• Experience building products and features start to finish
• Expert level experience in developing front-end applications using React.js + Redux
• Expert level experience with Ruby on Rails 
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Understanding of performance and scalability
• Experience working with Global Stakeholders
• Must come from a reputable university
