My client is a leading digital bank has won multiple awards being the frontier of driving innovative digital solutions. They are transiting to act like an Agile tech firm and have been hiring top global talents from leading tech companies. 

This newly-created Head of SRE role will play a pivotal role in making their tech infrastructure more nimble and highly available.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the entire bank's SRE strategy to ensure production availability and resilience with a strong focus on excellent customer experience
• Champion the implementation of SRE and Chaos Engineering designs for all strategic systems 
• Strategise an intelligent and fully automated production through the use of machine learning and instrumentation
• Manage a team of 50+ members and truncate cutting-edge SRE practice within the team and organisation
• Partner with business and technology teams to ensure effective communication with regard to service reliability, performance and superior customer experience

Key Requirements

• More than 15 years of relevant working experience with a strong technical background
• Strong exposure in driving huge transformation programmes in relation to production performance and resilience
• Excellent knowledge in distributed architecture, Cloud, microservices, SOA, IaaS and PaaS
• Experience in Agile and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
