Our client is an exciting FinTech company (Payments related) with access to a strong network of strategic partners across the APAC region. This role will offer a strong career progression opportunity to step-up into a Head of Risk and Compliance role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously update the enterprise risk and compliance framework
• Manage regulatory relationships with the relevant regional regulators (particularly MAS) and ensure business compliance with the regulatory requirements
• Ensure all required reporting is completed in an accurate and timely fashion
• Establish, lead and manage projects (non-financial risk, AML, KYC, PSA, etc.) to ensure ongoing compliance
• Advise the management on risk and governance regulatory requirements (external) across APAC
• Advise and educate internal stakeholders on internal Risk Management policies and procedures

Key Requirements:

• A university degree at undergraduate level or equivalent. Post-graduate degree will be advantageous
• At least 7 years of relevant Risk (Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk) and Compliance (AML/ KYC) experience in the FinTech/ Financial Services space
• Advantageous to have Payments related background coupled with license acquisition experience
• Regulatory liaison experience is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
