We are currently partnered with a Series C WealthTech who are on a mission to build a smart, transparent, personalised financial platform for millennials and Gen Z so that they can become accustomed to banking from an early age. Following their recent $56M Series C round, they are now looking to expand their team and onboard an Engineering Manager who will help grow and develop the engineers and build inclusive, high-performing teams, reporting directly to the VP of Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on scaling the engineering org and recruiting new engineers

• Manage a team of 8 engineers directly offering continuous feedback to help them progress in their career

• Be involved in hiring a world-class engineering team

• Ensuring the team can execute effectively and on time

• Working with cross-functional team leaders to create the roadmap

Key Requirements:

• 6+ years’ software engineering experience

• 2+ years’ experience in an engineering leadership role

• Experience building strong, effective engineering teams through hiring, coaching and mentoring

• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
