Our client, a leading Venture Capital with a diverse portfolio of investments globally is looking to fill a newly created Director of Investor Relations role.

Reporting into the Managing Partner for the region, the successful candidate will be given the remit to lead the Investor Relations function across SEA and primarily be responsible for the sourcing, engaging, and relationship management of investors (Family Offices, UHNW Individuals, Pension Funds, Endowment Funds; etc).

You are degree qualified with at least 5 years of experience in a similar function ideally within the asset management industry. Having a network of potential LPs as well as prior track record of being able to successfully manage LP relationships across the SEA region will be very well regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and engage with potential investors
• Take ownership of fund-raising targets and ensure numbers are met
• Manage global investor relation and business development function
• Manage and implement fund-raising strategy (including organising roadshows, generating leads; etc)
• Act as an effective and value adding conduit between investment teams and limited partners
• Manage relationship with regulators and be the point of contact across the regional markets
• Represent the firm at conferences and industry events
• Build and manage the regional IR team

Key Requirements

• Degree qualified
• Min 5 years of relevant experience in fund raising and investor relations ideally in the asset management industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong relationships with global investors (institutional investors and UHWN individuals)
