Director Business Development (A2P SMS) - UK/Europe

We are partnered with a global communications business who are looking to hire a new Director of Business Development to focus on its A2P SMS sector. This role is suited for someone who is highly experienced within the SMS industry who can see opportunities and understands the latest needs of leaders within wholesale and enterprise sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with both the operations and product teams supporting everything from the sales cycle to onboarding.

• Maximise MNO connections to identify exclusive opportunities in the SMS space
• Source MNP & HLR suppliers and customers to increase their coverage
• Be commercially minded and work closely within the operations team and product teams to stay current on product needs and performance
• Interact regularly with other sales teams within the business to identify and pursue new opportunities

Key Requirements

• Over 5 years experience within A2P SMS
• Over 3 years experience in a senior sales role
• A strong network of contacts within the global A2P messaging industry
• Proven track record of business development
• Proficiency in creating pricing models and sales presentations.
