Chief Technology and Product Officer

A Ground-breaking Health tech/Music Therapy company is looking to expand and add a Chief Technology and Product Officer to its ranks, to lead and manage the technical function.
The contributions you will make to this field are truly unique and it is changing perceptions of what is possible.
The top-quality candidate will have a pragmatic approach with a strong ability to deliver, ideally gained in scaling small/medium-sized enterprise technology.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the security and performance
Propose and manage Budgets for Technology and Product projects
Manage spending within agreed Budgets for each Team and the Technology Spend Projects Responsible
Work with Senior Leadership Team to define the Vision for the technical function in alignment with Corporate Strategy - define the Technology and Development Strategies that set out the role of the technical function in alignment with Corporate Strategy
Deliver against the agreed Technology, Product, and Development Strategies
Define and implement secure SDLC processes and manage process improvement to enhance security and delivery
Key Requirements
Deep technical understanding required to lead the technology function – extensive tech background
Business sense - a sound understanding of how business functions, the challenges it faces, the risks which need to be managed, and the solutions needed to mitigate the risks and overcome the challenges
Ability to manage costs and deliver to a budget
Experience of growing teams and small businesses
Strong leadership skills
Strong communication skills
Strategic thinking - the ability to focus on the bigger picture of the project goals
Commitment to the mission – someone who really buys into the culture
Ability to employ strong technical resources (subject to availability of budget), including defining roles/job descriptions and assessing prospective candidates
