My client, a rapidly growing consumer finance company in Asia, are looking for a Country Manager for the Philippines to build and open up the new market.  

Key Responsibilities

• Play a key role in building the business from the ground up, spanning product, operations, marketing and business development
• Be the key person on the ground responsible for building and scaling the business in the Philippines, supported by functional heads (product, marketing, engineering, operations, finance etc) based in the global HQ
• Acquire distribution points (merchants) for the company and scale them over time
• Guide and execute customer acquisition, marketing and product strategy for the Philippines
• Perform the role of a country representative and act as the driver of all hiring for the Philippines office
• Build the culture for the Philippines office
• Drive all commercial initiatives for the market and represent the company as a knowledge expert and senior leader during numerous events

 Key Requirements 

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a hi-growth start-up environment
• Proven track record in developing and cultivating relationships across all levels
• Proven track record as an accomplished sales or partnerships leader
• Well versed in the payments or ecommerce industry
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• High energy and goal-driven personality, focused on achieving big things efficiently and effectively
