Starting under 2 years ago, my client belonging to the Fintech space is now looking to launch their business and hire for their senior leadership team in Vietnam. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-backed and high-potential start-up that is paving the Fintech economy for SME businesses in Asia.

They are hiring for an entrepreneurial and innovative Country Manager who is well-connected and deeply experienced in the Financial Services industry and startup ecosystem in Vietnam.

This role will be based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead company operations, overall growth strategy, organizational leadership, financial and organizational management, external communications, and marketing and sales efforts
• Responsible for the development and management of advisor and investor relationships
• Providing short term and long term company vision and developing the sales and marketing strategy
• Responsible to achieve revenue objectives
• Oversee operating plans, budgets, cash flows and company finances
• Build and motivate a world-class product, marketing and customer service team
• Ensure that the company complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and, where appropriate, best practices

Key Requirements 

• Min. 12+ years of prior experience in sales and/or leadership efforts in start-ups or young companies with a background in financial services
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
• Track record of building innovative, creative, and collaborative teams.
• Experience in fundraising, credit and investor relationships is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership skills and effective collaborator with a growth mindset
