Our client, a leading insurance player is looking for a Compliance Manager, APAC. This is a regional role primarily responsible in implementation of group compliance programs, an excellent opportunity for individual looking for a broader compliance scope and a more strategic work. Travelling will be expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of compliance programs and requirements 
• Prepare and conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments
• Provide business oriented advice to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations
• Provide ad-hoc legal & compliance advice to in-house legal & compliance teams 
• Provide training to employees regarding legal, compliance & data privacy topics 
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments in Singapore and the region 

Key Requirements

• At least 5 years of compliance management experience; insurance/ banking/ regulatory work or data privacy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to lead and manage compliance projects independently
• Proven team player and strong stakeholder management
