Job Description

​This AgTech startup that has just secured their $22M Series-B funding are on a mission to improve farm profitability through their product discovery platform which is centred around a strong understanding of soil via their advanced robotics, genomics and high-spec agronomic data. They are looking to onboard a CTO who will take charge of all software development aspects, as well as manage and scale the engineering organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands on with scaling the engineering org – they are looking to double this within the next 12 months to ~30 engineers at all levels

  • Taking a hands-on approach to managing when necessary

  • Guide the engineering team to develop technical strategies that enhance and scale their product

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams

Key Requirements:

  • Experienced with hiring and mentoring engineering teams

  • 5+ years’ experience managing teams

  • 2+ years’ experience with managing other managers

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and/or start-up environment preferred

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field
