This is an exciting key leadership role with a Fintech business. Our client has a strong regional network and with a solid backing from experienced investors, they are looking to actively grow their global business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and continuously update the risk management framework and the control environment
• Supervise adherence to risk & control processes and policies
• Advise the management on risk and governance regulatory requirements (external) across APAC
• Manage regulatory relationships with the relevant regional regulators
• Work closely with the business, technology and other corporate governance stakeholders to understand the products, system and processes
• Advise and educate internal stakeholders on internal Risk Management policies and procedures
• Recruit, train and supervise the risk management team

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting, Risk Management or related fields
• At least 15 years of relevant Risk Management experience – Credit Risk preferred
• Experience in Fintech and Financial Services (particularly in Consumer/ Retail Banking) are highly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (as you will be required to engage with stakeholders who predominantly interact in Mandarin)
• Experience in managing/ leading a team across the APAC region
