Job Description

Our client, one of the most well-loved Fast Food Chains globally, is looking for a Chief Digital Officer who will spearhead the digital transformation journey. You will be a catalyst of transformational change to more than 2,000 restaurants with Digital Sales of nearly USD1Bn. As Digital & Technology Leader for Greater Asia, you will play an integral role in accelerating digitalisation for the region by shaping the digital strategy, and building relevant capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate the growth of brand enhancing digital sales channels by providing strategy, roadmaps, and guidance on the right digital solutions to meet their business objectives

  • Accelerate the adoption of technology for more efficient and effective restaurant operations by providing guidance, advice, roadmaps and strategies on the right digital solutions to meet their business objectives

  • Partner with the APAC Regional Digital team with the adoption, ongoing development and governance of standards

  • Coach Franchisee digital leaders to build their capability to deliver digital solutions in an accelerated and brand aligned manner

  • Compile and maintain weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting that drives digital acceleration and standards alignment across region

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree essential, with major in Computer Science/Information Technology preferred

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive business experience in managing functions and departments dealing with digital and technology solutions

  • Experience in a digital environment, QSR or Retail, eCommerce or Click and Collect environment highly regarded

  • Characteristics of contemporary information technologies and a general understanding of system features and their integration capabilities

  • Systems design and development process, including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, software design, programming, pilot testing, installation, evaluation and operational management

  • Sound planning, organising, leading, co-ordinating and influencing skills

  • Experience and/or qualifications in Prince2, ITIL, Scrum or similar disciplines

  • Ability to perform in a fast paced/high volume environment

  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues on a timely basis, coupled with strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex issues to the Leadership Team
