Job Description

Working for market leading foreign exchange and money transfer business that operates on a global scale and helps business to make international payments. The business is privately owned, headquartered in the UK and is looking for a CEO based in London to take control and grow their business.

The CEO is responsible for the effective leadership and performance of the Company, its development and growth and holds executive responsibility for all its day-to-day operations.

The role will report directly to the Founders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic goals, objectives and financial plans to meet both the short term and long-term needs of the company with a strong focus on company growth

  • Manage the company effectively, ensuring that its financial security is maintained and enhanced.

  • Manage and lead the compliance and regulatory aspects of the business, ensuring the compliance culture and ‘tone from the top’ is maintained and enhanced

  • Direct the activities of the company to ensure they are carried out to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in accordance with the requirements of relevant legislation

  • Take overall responsibility for monitoring performance against targets in all areas of the company's activities, taking appropriate action and reporting as required

  • Develop the management team to ensure the productive and effective management of the day-to-day activities of the company

  • Lead and motivate all staff to enable them to provide a high-quality service to both internal and external customers

Key Requirements:

  • A strategic leader who has operated at a senior level ideally as a CEO and has had significant staff responsibilities

  • Previous financial services / payments industry experience

  • Extensive knowledge of financial planning, and analysis

  • Extensive knowledge of relevant payments industry legislation

  • Ability to influence the behaviour of others, plan their approaches and communicate clearly using a variety of techniques

  • Experience of developing and managing effective customer driven services

  • Have experience in negotiating and completing M&A activities
