Job Description

A leading London based MSP are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team! Responsible for identifying, refining, and closing out opportunities with new clients, this is a great opportunity for someone with 3+ years’ experience in selling Microsoft Cloud & Cyber Security as a managed service.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the complete sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal.
  • Following a ‘Power Base Selling’ methodology.
  • Create and execute a territory business plan.
  • Create and execute sales campaigns within the sales territory.
  • Nurture sales opportunities, entering new opportunities into sales pipeline.
  • Able to communicate effectively with corporate professionals, establish respect, credibility, and relationships at all levels.
  • Highly organised and with attention to detail.
  • A client-centric approach to business.
  • Taking full responsibility whilst still appreciating it’s a team effort.
  • Strong written and verbal business communication.
  • Working to deadlines and performing under pressure.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience of selling complex IT services projects to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
  • A holistic view of the business, ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Ability to work with key internal stakeholders – sales, marketing, operations, and consultants.
  • Ability to work with key external stakeholders – Clients and Microsoft.
  • Managing or adapting to change, pace, strategic direction.
