Job Description

This is a key role in an exciting and rapidly growing CPG company, with the consumer at the heart of our marketing strategy and activities. As the Brand Manager Europe, you will oversee marketing activities for the brand portfolio across our strategic markets in Europe, such as Spain, Portugal and Italy. You will ensure the brand salience and mental availability across the region, and you will work in close collaboration with the distributors and Business Development Managers to achieve the growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be passionate, a true collaborator, a consistent performer, and committed to our brand vision and exciting brand journey!

Key areas of accountability:


  • Building the consolidated marketing plan for Europe strategic markets and executing it across our paid, owned and earned channels, our partnerships, and all our brand touchpoints
  • Work closely with distributor partners to activate key POS, to ensure perfect store execution of the brand
  • Monitor and control the marketing budget with recommendations on phasing, spending & budget allocation
  • Owning stakeholder relationships as you manage multi-functional local and global teams, distributors, and agency partners
  • Executing innovation launches to the region, working with portfolio, commercial and cross-functional colleagues
  • Setting clear activity objectives and KPIs, monitoring and evaluating activities and making clear recommendations- optimising future activity
  • Demonstrate leadership skills as you drive multiple campaigns and collaborate on projects, providing clear guidance to the distributors and agencies on all brand communication.

Experience & Qualifications:


You should demonstrate a clear ability to work cross-functionally, always with the consumer placed front and centre. You should demonstrate a structured working approach, driven by data & insights, being analytical and with attention to detail. The ability to work in a fast-paced, very ambitious and dynamic organization is essential.


  • A proven track record in developing brands in an FMCG/CPG business environment
  • Experience with distributors and multiple markets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Proven campaign delivery and success against KPIs
  • Fluency (spoken and written) in English is mandatory, a second language such as Spanish, Portuguese or Italian is an advantage
  • Flexibility to travel (role has expected travel of c.10%)
  • Experience managing agencies and portfolio
  • Previous experience managing a marketing budget
  • Ability to work in Matrix and highly collaborative organisations
