My client, a Series C hyper growth NoSQL Database vendor, is seeking a C++ Software Team Lead (Hands on) to join their team.
This is a permanent opportunity and you will be required to attend their offices (Herzliya) on a hybrid basis (2 days per week). This is paying a market leading salary company stock options.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a distributed team of very talented 5-10 developers
- Develop performance-sensitive software in an open-source collaborative environment
- Hands-on development of features and review code by team members (~50% of the time).
- Grow and coach the team talent
- Communicate clearly in public email, commit messages, and bug reports
Requirements:
- At least five years of experience in kernel or server projects
- Extensive Knowledge of C++
- A Doer, a leader, a winner, a savvy hands-on coder, highly analytical, a bar raiser, and a team player
- Experience in directly managing a distributed team is a plus
- Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related subject is a plus
- Experience working on database internals is a plus
- Great 360 collaboration and communication skills
- Open source development experience is a plus
