A rapidly growing fintech is looking for an Employment Counsel to support its expanding workforce across multiple jurisdictions. This role will be instrumental in managing employment compliance, advising HR on key issues, and handling disputes. With significant market expansion and workforce growth, the company seeks a pragmatic and commercially savvy employment lawyer to strengthen its legal function.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee employment compliance audits, ensuring regulatory alignment.
  • Advise HR on day-to-day employment matters across multiple regions.
  • Handle employment disputes, investigations, and sensitive employee issues.
  • Draft and refine employment policies, contracts, and governance frameworks.
  • Support M&A, restructuring, and market expansion initiatives.

 

Key Requirements
  • 5+ PQE (ideally 7-8), with experience in advisory & disputes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to push back when needed.
  • Fintech, banking, or tech sector experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Regional exposure; additional SEA/European language skills a plus.
