A fast-growing, well-funded European Fintech operating at the forefront of Open Banking and Account-to-Account (A2A) payments is seeking a Regional Merchant Success Manager to join its dynamic team. Backed by $60M in Series A funding and led by experienced industry veterans, this company is transforming how consumers and merchants experience payments.

About the Role:

  • This role sits at the heart of the Merchant Success function, responsible for managing and growing relationships with a portfolio of high-value ecommerce and financial services merchants across a defined region. You'll act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, ensuring clients fully realize the value of the company’s next-generation payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and grow a portfolio of ecommerce and financial services merchant accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive product adoption, revenue growth, and merchant satisfaction.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for merchants, nurturing relationships from operational teams to executive stakeholders.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize account value.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Technical Support teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Offer actionable insights on how merchants can leverage the full product suite to support their business objectives.
  • Track and report on performance metrics related to merchant engagement, growth, and health.
About You:
  • 5+ years in Account Management, Client Success, or a similar role within ecommerce or financial services.
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce trends and the challenges online merchants face.
  • Proven track record in revenue growth through account development strategies.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in the European payments or fintech space preferred.
  • Fluency in both English and German is essential.
  • Advantageous: Exposure to A2A payments, Open Banking platforms, and CRM tools.
