This is a newly created Legal Counsel position, reporting directly to the Co-Founder/Partner of the firm. The role is fully remote, providing flexibility while offering high visibility and strategic impact. The successful candidate will play a key role in balancing legal risk with commercial outcomes, working closely with investment professionals, portfolio companies, and external counsel.

• Provide practical and strategic legal advice on venture capital investments, fund structures, and portfolio company matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of legal documents, including investment agreements, shareholder agreements, fund documents, and commercial contracts.
• Support fundraising activities, regulatory compliance, and governance matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Work closely with the investment team to assess deal risks and structure transactions effectively.
• Oversee and manage external legal counsel relationships when required.
• Proactively identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks while ensuring commercial objectives are met.

• At least 5 years of legal experience, ideally with exposure to venture capital, private equity, M&A, or funds-related work.
• Prior in-house experience is highly regarded, but candidates joining directly from private practice are also welcome.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance legal risks with business goals.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions is a plus.
• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset—able to work effectively in a collegial, close-knit team.
