A global leader in the financial technology sector is seeking an experienced legal professional to join its high-performing legal team in Singapore. Role Overview

Serve as a lead lawyer for technology and commercial contracting matters within a global legal function.

Take charge of drafting, reviewing, and finalising high-value agreements covering software, platforms, cloud services, infrastructure, telecoms, and professional services.

Manage both supplier-side and client-facing contractual negotiations.

Advise on legal and regulatory aspects of outsourcing arrangements and technology procurement in multiple Asia-Pacific markets.

Provide counsel on product development, service roll-outs, and strategic alliances.

Collaborate closely with compliance, risk, privacy, procurement, and intellectual property teams to support business objectives.

Develop and maintain template agreements and legal resources to improve efficiency.

Support regulatory engagement and compliance activities for technology and product initiatives.

Proactively identify legal risks and propose pragmatic solutions.

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.

6–8 years post-qualification experience, with a strong track record in technology transactions and commercial contracting.

Background in top-tier private practice and/or multinational corporate legal teams.

Skilled in negotiating large-scale technology procurement and service agreements, including with global cloud or SaaS providers.

Familiarity with laws governing technology, intellectual property, and outsourcing in Singapore and across Asia-Pacific.

Experience within fintech, digital payments, or financial services is advantageous.

Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple cross-border projects.

Strong business awareness and solution-focused approach.

Excellent negotiation, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.

Admission to practice in a Commonwealth jurisdiction preferred.

Singapore-based, with flexibility for occasional regional travel.
