A fast-scaling onchain exchange—one of the top 10 perpetual DEX platforms globally by trading volume—is looking for a Legal Counsel to join a lean, high-ownership legal team.
This is a commercial-first role. You'll be supporting a business that moves fast, operates across multiple jurisdictions, and is actively expanding its product suite and geographic footprint. Expect broad scope, direct C-suite exposure, and genuine involvement in the company's next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements — partnerships, vendor contracts, platform terms, institutional arrangements
- Horizon-scanning across APAC regulatory developments and translating them into actionable guidance
- Supporting corporate structuring, capital raises, and international expansion initiatives
- Liaising with external counsel and regulatory bodies on complex matters
- Handling investor-related documentation and cap table management
- Supporting licensing and registration processes across relevant jurisdictions
Key Requirements
- 4–6 years PQE, law degree from a recognised institution
- Strong commercial drafting and negotiation skills as your primary toolkit
- Genuine familiarity with the Web3 / crypto space — professional experience preferred, but serious personal engagement considered
- Comfortable operating independently in a lean, fast-moving environment
- Prior experience in digital assets, fintech, payments, or a tech-driven in-house function is a strong plus
