Headcount: 150 employees Location : London ARR: 50mSpace has partnered with a super fast-growing payments business on the hunt for a generalist HR manager to support on them on their next phase of growth.
Responsibilities: Employee Lifecycle Management Attraction & Recruitment- Partner with managers to define workforce needs and role profiles.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing, and making offers.
- Build talent pipelines and strengthen employer branding.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience that reflects organizational values.
- Design and deliver onboarding programs to integrate new hires effectively.
- Coordinate induction training and ensure compliance with required documentation.
- Support managers in setting objectives and expectations for new employees.
- Oversee performance management cycles, providing coaching to managers.
- Identify skills gaps and drive learning and development initiatives.
- Deliver engagement and wellbeing initiatives that foster inclusion and retention.
- Manage payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support compensation reviews and benchmark roles against market standards.
- Develop recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
- Maintain up-to-date HR policies aligned with legislation.
- Ensure health & safety, equality, and employment law compliance.
- Manage resignations, retirements, redundancies, and terminations professionally and compliantly.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to drive retention strategies.
- Develop alumni networks where appropriate to support future talent attraction.
- Ensure employee records and HRIS data are accurate and GDPR compliant.
- Produce HR metrics and dashboards to inform business decisions (e.g., turnover, recruitment effectiveness, engagement).
- Continuously review HR processes to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- 3+ years experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or similar role with full lifecycle exposure, ideally within a payments, fintech or fast growth technology business.
- Strong background in end-to-end talent acquisition and workforce planning.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Skilled in conflict resolution, coaching, and change management.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems.
