Having achieved early product-market traction, we are now hiring our first UK Sales Engineer — a foundational role critical to driving enterprise deals and shaping our technical go-to-market strategy.
This is an opportunity to join at the ground floor, influence product direction, and work closely with both customers and the founding team.
The Role
As the Founding Sales Engineer, you will be the technical counterpart to our enterprise sales team. You will lead pre-sales engagements, provide deep technical expertise, and help translate customer needs into tailored solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the technical sales playbook, demos, and proof-of-concept process.
You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and sales leadership to ensure customers experience seamless technical validation and adoption.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with enterprise sales to lead technical engagements and pre-sales cycles

Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical workshops

Translate customer business requirements into solution designs

Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires

Provide technical validation and support deal closure

Develop repeatable technical sales processes, demo scripts, and PoC frameworks

Collect and communicate customer feedback to product and engineering teams

Support early customer onboarding and technical enablement

Represent the company at conferences, webinars, and industry events
What We’re Looking For
Experience-
5+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales technical role

Experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise software

Proven success supporting complex enterprise deals and multi-stakeholder environments

Familiarity with cloud platforms, networking, and security concepts preferred

Experience in early-stage startups is a strong plus

Excellent technical communication and presentation skills
