My client, a Series C hyper growth NoSQL Database vendor, is seeking a  Core Product Manager  to join their team.

 

This is a permanent opportunity and you will be fully remote. This is paying a market leading salary company stock options.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Be a part of the product management team, reporting to the Scylla Head of Product Management
  • Manage my client's Core Database Product roadmap, research big data features, compare the world’s leading database technology
  • Be in charge of my client's flagship database product. Help us define the roadmap, research features, expand the query language, and explore performance improvements and deployment options, from Kubernetes, to DBaaS and open source features.
  • Write technical requirements for Dev, and QA teams
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and Support to collect feedback from internal and external users
  • Follow and research the industry with an eye on competitor's products in the same and similar domains
  • Verify that implementation and testing, and validation outputs match the requirements
  • Help prioritize the feature requests and bug fixes

 

Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least eight years of software engineering experience, as Dev, or QA.
  • At least five years hands on experience in the Database NoSQL domain, as Solution Architect, QA, or a power user.
  • At least three years of product management experience in data infrastructure software
  • Excellent writing skills in English. Ability to create large documents in a clear, concise, and structured manner
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to articulate complex feature requirements, capture clear user stories, and design appropriate product feature metrics.
