This isn’t a job where you tweak dashboards or pass specs along the pipeline. You’ll launch voice agents that speak to thousands of people a day - real users, real stakes, and real ownership from the first meeting to full rollout. Every deployment is different, every integration complex, and your decisions shape the product in production, not in theory.
You won’t be stuck in Jira tickets or internal meetings. Instead, you’ll be in the room with customers - whiteboarding with product teams, designing flows with engineers, and hearing your work in live conversations within days. It’s fast, messy, and deeply rewarding. You’ll get to go deep - on product, on people and on problems. From scoping APIs to tuning agent behavior and iterating post-launch, you’ll lead end-to-end delivery and stay embedded throughout. There’s no “handoff.” You build it, you ship it, you improve it. It’s a small, sharp team that moves quickly and cares deeply. No bloat, no blockers, no layers to fight through. Just thoughtful engineers, real technical challenges, and big autonomy from day one. What you’ll take on- Work closely with customers from first call to go-live - owning discovery, design, integration, and iteration
- Architect technical solutions across APIs, LLMs, and voice interfaces, writing light production-grade code (Python, JavaScript, or whatever gets it done)
- Embed into client teams, align stakeholders, set timelines, and deliver results with zero hand-holding
- Monitor live usage, analyse real calls, identify edge cases, and ship fixes that make agents sound smarter and more human
- 3–7 years in solutions engineering, customer-focused software engineering, or similar proven experience owning full deployments - not just delivering tickets, but guiding delivery
- Strong technical instincts across APIs, system design, and customer communication
- Willing to be in San Francisco for your first month and travel to customer sites when needed
This Series B startup is building voice agents that feel human - powered by LLMs and used by companies you’ll have heard of. Backed by Y Combinator, and founders from PayPal and Twilio, they’ve raised over $60M to rethink how AI talks to people. You’ll be joining a team of 70, working on a technical product with meaningful traction.
