Jennifer Bruce

​Jen graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2020 with a degree in Management and since went on to start her career in recruitment at a start-up organisation. She has now gained 1 years' experience recruiting Senior – Exec level candidates within DevOps/Engineering in the FinTech space with a strong focus on the US market, and working with a range of clients at all funding stages (Seed-Series E and above).

Example of roles worked include: Senior Front End/Backend/Full Stack Engineers, Senior Mobile Developers (IOS/Android/Flutter/React Native), Platform/DevOps Engineers, Director/VP of Engineering, CTO.

When Jen was younger, she used to be an elite gymnast representing the South-East at a national level competing all around the UK. She also competed in a Jailbreak Charity event across Europe, using only public donations and proudly raising around £250 within 36 hours, finally finishing in Brugges, Belgium. 

Jen also studied abroad in Malaysia for a semester during her time at university and was able to travel to 7 different countries that Summer. She enjoyed some incredible solo travelling experiences, including eating a scorpion whilst in Thailand (though she is not sure she would recommend this to others). Nonetheless, she would love to do some travelling again in the future.

Professionally, Jen considers herself to be a collaborative team-player, ensuring she builds a strong rapport with people to create a trusting and reliable working relationship. She also enjoys taking the time to really listen and understand what a client or candidates’ needs are.

Jennifer joins us a Consultant focusing on Technology roles across the FinTech and Tech space across Europe and US. Typical mandates require candidates with strong technology expertise who are specialised in certain programming languages at a Senior level and above, preferably with experience in scaling products/teams.
