Duncan is a seasoned recruitment expert with over 20 years of experience, specialising in building and scaling technology teams across AI, blockchain, and emerging tech. He has helped grow businesses from start-ups to high-performing teams of over 100 engineers, with a strong focus on sourcing top-tier talent across engineering, sales, and marketing.

Over the past five years, Duncan has worked extensively in the blockchain and AI sectors, supporting scale-ups in hiring the top 1% of candidates in highly competitive markets. His earlier career was rooted in technology recruitment for banking, hedge funds, and FinTech.

Duncan’s achievements include placing 97 engineers in just eight months for EQ Tek, building a new onshore IT function for Affinity Water with over 50 hires, and delivering a full front-end development team for William Hill’s World Cup campaign in under a month. He also led the UK and European hiring for a global blockchain leader, placing senior executives and highly specialised technical talent.
